How the range is chosen
Every product had to survive a question: does this solve a problem a real owner actually complains about, and can we say something true about it that nobody else is saying. Most products we looked at failed that. Those are not here. Some of what is here comes from brands we trust, such as IREMIA, Sealy, Flexi, Curli and LickiMat, and the page says so when we did not make it.
We will tell you what a product does not do
This is the part that makes us different, and it costs us sales.
- The Summer Cooling Vest is a mesh shirt, not a wet vest. It is not soaked, not wrung out, and it does not cool by evaporation. It puts fabric between the sun and his back and lets air through. If you want the kind you wet before a walk, this is not it.
- A rake removes more fur than our glove. If your dog is happy being brushed, buy a rake. The glove is for the dog that leaves the room when one appears.
- No mat catches every granule. You will still find the odd one down the passage. What changes is that a daily sweep becomes a weekly one.
Every competitor in this category sells the mechanism and stays quiet about the objection their own comment sections are full of. We would rather lose the sale than have you open the parcel and feel misled.
What we are not
We are not a rescue, a shelter or a charity, and we do not take donations. The name is about giving an animal somewhere better to be in your own home.
What we do not claim
Nothing here treats, prevents or cures anything. These are aids, not veterinary care. If your animal is unwell or in distress, that is a conversation with your vet, not a product page.
