By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
2. Products and pricing
We describe our products as accurately as possible. Product images are for illustration and colours may vary slightly. All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
3. Orders and payment
An order is accepted once you receive our order confirmation email. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details.
If an item is out of stock after you have paid, we will tell you and offer a full refund or an alternative.
4. Personalised items
Where an item is printed with text you supply, we print exactly what you confirm in writing. We always confirm the spelling and size with you before printing. Once confirmed, it cannot be changed or returned for change of mind, because it cannot be sold to anyone else.

6. Cancellations, returns and refunds
See our Returns & Refunds page. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
7. Pet safety
Please supervise your pet when using any new product and check it regularly for wear. Remove damaged products immediately. Our products are aids, not veterinary care. Nothing we sell treats, prevents or cures any condition, and nothing on this site replaces advice from a registered vet.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under South African law, including under the Consumer Protection Act.
9. Privacy
How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images and logos, belongs to Pet Sanctuary or its licensors and may not be copied without permission.
11. Complaints and disputes
If you have a complaint, please email us first at contact.petsanctuary@gmail.com and we will try to resolve it within 10 business days. If we cannot resolve it, you may contact the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) or the National Consumer Commission.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
