Three things we would rather you knew first

The Summer Cooling Vest is a mesh shirt, not a wet vest. It is not soaked or wrung out, and it does not cool by evaporation. It shades his back and lets air through. If you want a vest you wet before a walk, this is not it.

A rake removes more fur than our glove. If your dog is happy being brushed, buy a rake. The glove is for the dog that leaves the room when one appears.

No mat catches every granule. You will still find the odd one down the passage. What changes is that a daily sweep becomes a weekly one.

How do I know what size to order?

Measure, do not guess, and use the chart on the product page rather than your dog’s breed. Chest girth is the widest part of the chest. Back length is the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Breed names are a bad proxy: two staffies can be three sizes apart.

My dog is between two sizes. Which one?

Email us the two measurements before you order and we will tell you which one we would send. For anything worn, we normally go up. For mats, the size below is usually the one that actually gets used, because it fits the spot the dog already sleeps in.

How long does delivery take?

2 to 4 working days to most South African addresses, dispatched from Cape Town. You get a tracking number when the parcel is collected, not when the order is placed.

How does the name on the hoodie work?

Type his name in the box on the product page, exactly as you want it printed. We still message you to confirm the spelling before anything goes to print. That adds a few days, and it is worth it.

What if it is wrong when it arrives?

Tell us within 30 days and we will sort out a return on anything unused and in its packaging. No restocking fee. Personalised items are the exception, which is why we confirm the spelling first.

Are these vet recommended?

No. We will not put those words on a page without a named, consenting, registered vet who has actually reviewed the product, and we do not have one. Nothing here treats, prevents or cures anything. A distressed animal needs a vet, not a product page.
