What it does not do
Clip it to a harness, never a collar. In a hard stop, a tether on a collar does serious damage to a dog's neck. If your dog does not have a harness, this is not the right product yet.
It is also a restraint, not a crash-tested safety device. It stops a dog moving around the car. It is not a seat belt in the sense that yours is, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
